My Journey to Purpose-Driven Career Coaching

At 13, I discovered my natural gift for haircutting. But I quickly learned something deeper: the barber's chair was a sacred space where people shared their struggles, dreams, and life transitions. I realized I wasn't just changing how people looked…I was witnessing their journeys unfold.

Despite being told I "wasn't college material," I completed my undergraduate degree, then pursued licensure as a Barber and Cosmetologist across multiple states and the UK. Over the years, I've served hundreds of individuals as a Hair/Skin Professional, Educator, Human Services Professional, and Career Advisor….helping people connect the dots between where they've been and where they're going.

Clients kept telling me they needed more than a haircut or career advice…they needed holistic support. That's when Career Coaching met Wellness, and the "Career Coaching Barberguy" was born.

What I've learned: Every experience prepares us for the next season of becoming who we're meant to be. Nothing is wasted. Every twist in our path counts, even when it doesn't feel like it.
