Soyica is both a Licensed Barber Stylist as well as Certified Workforce Development Professional (CWDP) and member of the National Association for Workforce Development Professionals, the National Career Development Association and the MACCA.

Prior to conceptualizing “The Soyica Experience”, Soyica has worked a number of years within the government sector, including American Job Centers, helping others gain professional training credentials, career transition, exploration guidance and support.

Soyica serves others as a Career Empowerment Coach, trained in Life Coaching, Mental Health Awareness and Trauma Informed Care.

Soyica is actively involved in volunteer services with various local organizations, including offering haircuts at no cost for residents of men’s shelters and is always engaged in training within the delivery of Workforce Development/Human Services.
